Conforming to BS EN1492-2, and also “Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC,” our round slings have a safety factor of 7:1
Made using high tenacity polyester fibre, load bearing fibres are wound together to form an endless hank. The number of turns in the hank determines the
working load limit. A seamless, non-load bearing polyester cover protects and consolidates the load-bearing fibres. Due to the protective cover, internal
damage to these fibres is almost impossible, without first damaging the outer cover.
Slings are colour coded to identify the relevant working load limit. The round slings are also individually labelled, located in a clear plastic sleeve. The label states the sling number, material, length and date of manufacture. In addition to any further relevant safety information
